Planned site layout changes for Winter Wonderland Hyde Park 2016 were analysed by Crowd Dynamics using a ‘spatial analysis’ tool, past experience and knowledge of crowd behaviour at similar events, to determine likely crowd movement patterns and limit the risk of key areas being underused.

Crowd management proposals were presented, such as signage or other information for visitors for high footfall past key attractions and reduction of underused areas. Design change recommendations were made based upon the results from the ‘spatial analysis’ tool.
