Crowd Dynamics International Limited were commissioned by Allied London to forecast and analyse crowd movement external to The Factory within the St John’s Manchester Masterplan.

Consideration was given to events that may be held at The Factory, the crowd ingress, and dispersal, but also to the general design of space, including the shared space area along Grape street and in Festival Square.

A UAF model was developed to test interaction between spectators and taxis upon egress.
