Crowd Dynamics take a holistic approach to crowd management and movement strategies that have been developed for venues, events and mass gatherings. The management and movement strategy is based on analysis, simulation, and knowledge of crowd behaviour and practical experience.
We have developed movement and management strategies around the world, notably in Saudi Arabia, most notably alongside the design of masterplans in Makkah and Madinah, The Riyadh International Book Fair, and Farnborough Air Show. We also work with venues such as Alexandra Palace, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and the newly conceived Factory project at St John's Manchester.
The management strategies developed are at a high level, such as:
-
Designing where and when crowds should be redirected
-
Efficient, manageable queue systems
-
Wayfinding processes
-
Evacuation strategies
We have acted as operational crowd management advisors during large scale events, such as Riyadh International Book Fair, RICEC Science Festival and 'King's Welcome' event, inaugurating the new King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh, alongside our partners on this project ADD Enterprise.
